PUMPKIN FACTOR FAQ

KID FRIENDLY?

Pumpkin Factor is a non-competitve, family friendly 5K Run/Walk and is open to all ages. Everyone accessing the course must register for the run to participate. 

INFO PACKET

PRINT OUT your original confirmation email and bring it with you to the venue.  Can’t find your email confirmation?  Have it resent by selecting your city and entering the email address used for purchase HERE

There is an important  “EVENT DAY INFO” link and a required Waiver download link in your confirmation email. You can also access this information anytime by visiting your specific city via the LOCATIONS tab in the menu bar and scrolling to the bottom of the page.  This link may be updated with new informaiton the week of the event. Please make sure all members of your party read the information on the EVENT DAY INFO page and download a liabily waiver. 

EVENT PARKING

Parking is $10 (cash only) per vehicle.  You must park in the area designated by our event permit only. No parking on streets, roads or adjacent lots allowed. Absolutely no “walk-ins” from outside the event parking area will be permitted to participate in any Pumpkin Factor event, no exceptions.

SPECTATORS

Spectators passes are available at the venue for $12.  Access is limited to the defined Festival Area Only during the run (start and finish line) – No Course Access. Course sight lines and visibility is limited and not guaranteed. Children 13 and under are admitted Free (as spectators) into the festival area. All spectators must sign the liability waiver to access the venue. Download a spectator or participant waiver HERE.  No Pets Allowed. Venue specific activites may be limited or require an additional fee. 

ARRIVAL TIME

Venue gates will open at 9 am. You should arrive at least one hour prior to your running time. The registrant on file must match a photo I.D. Checking in to the run requires a photo ID and completed participant waiver.  

WHAT TO BRING

Photo Identification
We verify your purchased event ticket against your photo identification. You must have your Photo ID.

Waiver
A completed liability waiver is required to participate. Download one HERE

Extra Funds
Bring cash for food, beverages, merchandise, etc  

Water
Bring extra water to hydrate before and after your run.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

No Pets, Alcohol, Outside Food, Weapons or Glass allowed.

BAG CHECK

A supervised bag check service is available and is located in the festival zone. Pumpkin Factor is NOT responsible for any items left anywhere, with anyone (including event volunteers / workers) outside of our Bag Check area. $5 Cash per bag.

The bag check service is only available while you are completing the run porion of the event and will close promptly once the last runners have crossed the finish line. Please make sure you pick up all items left in bag check before moving on to other activities on the festival grounds once the run has completed. 

REGISTRATION CHANGES

Transfer Your Registration to Someone Else 

ONLINE: You may transfer your registration to another runner by completing an online transfer request. This option is available until 7 days prior to the event to allow our staff enough time to process the transaction and issue you a voucher code. Cost for a transfer is $15.  Get started HERE

DAY OF EVENT:  Have the new participant bring their I.D. and a copy of the ORIGINAL PARTICIPANT’S CONFIRMATION EMAIL to the ‘Post Registration’ line at the registration tent. Arrive at least one hour prior to their wave start time.  $15 cash only fee to make this change.  

Change Your Wave Time (if available)
Please arrive at least one hour prior to the desired wave start time, and head to the ‘Post Registration’ line at the registration tent. The fee is $15 fee (cash only) to make this change.  You may also request a wave time transfer online up until 7 days prior to the event by using the Transfer Link 

Change Event Locations
You may switch event locations up until online registration closes for your current location. You may change to another event that is currently on sale or defer and wait for a future event to be announced.  No credits or refunds are offered for an event day no-show.  

There is a $10 administrative fee to switch venues or defer your registration.  A voucher code will  be emailed to you so that you can register at the new locationand is valid until redeemed. Get started HERE
